Fun with My Kids


I don't remember when this was or why, but I thought it was pretty cute that Tink fell asleep in the floor in front of the shower in my bathroom. It may have been one of the nights that she was sick and throwing up...



This was when we went to the park with Auntie Netta one time, and Pateetee insisted on wearing her jeans with her skirt. Love my girls' fashion sense!

Weather vane science experiment (It was really bright outside, and yes, my kids are all still in their pjs--sort of. LOL)



This is what happens when Mommy doesn't put away angel hair pasta and also doesn't pay attention to two little children when they are being WAY too quiet. As you can see, it was all over my kitchen and even in the playroom (which by the way has been changed into a craft/school room).



Hope enjoying a fruit strip--I love those things, and she does, too!

This happens a lot in our van on almost any drive in or out of town.



We have an ice cream truck that drives around our neighborhood a few times a week. The kids are ALWAYS asking if they can get something from the ice cream man, and the answer is always, "No." One day Daddy told them that I would buy them something from the ice cream truck the next time it came around since they cleaned up the whole playroom. These giant popsicles are what they got. :-)

Friends' Birthday

In June, we were invited to a birthday party for twin girls who are Tink's friends from church. They have a big family and most of them live around here, so they had a big party and BBQ at the park. The kids (big and small ;) had a great time! They played a fabulous version of Duck, Duck, Goose! The person who was it carried around a pail of water. When they said Duck, they would sprinkle a little water on the person, but when they said Goose, they would dump the entire bucket of water on the person. It was hilarious to watch! The girl getting the water dumped on her head has the same name as one of my daughters. I just love the expression on her face. Priceless! Tink was laughing so hard when she got to dump the water on a big kid's head. I wish you could see her face. It was awesome. Tink eating a hot dog Skinja playing on the giant slip n slide

Pictures of the Belly....FINALLY!!!

Okay, so now that we are 38 1/2 weeks along (as of the date of the pictures), we finally got some pictures of the baby bump....well, it's more of a baby mountain, I think, but at any rate, here they are. Enjoy! See what I mean--it's huge! ;) It's like a little seat for Mya. Here are some new pictures of the cute little booger. She just keeps growing and learning new words. She speaks in sentences and climbs on everything. She loves to brush her teeth and wash her hands. And, inevitably, she has learned the word NO. Sometimes it drives me nuts because she says it no matter what you ask her and no matter if she really does want something or not. I know that all kids are like that, but I kept hoping she wouldn't learn it. Oh well! C'est la vie! :) She learned this from her daddy! :) A cute picture of daddy and daughter at a Primary activity.
