Caught Up!

Yay! I am finally all caught up on the blog. Hopefully, I will be able to stay current from now until the end of the year. No guarantees, but I will definitely try. :-)

Just as a side note, I will be changing Pateetee's name to Daffodil here on the blog. We actually haven't called her Pateetee since she was a baby, but it wasn't until recently that we found a nickname that I wanted to replace it on here. Daddy started calling her Daffodil a couple months ago, and I think it's pretty cute. Everyone else's names will remain the same...for now. ;-)

I will try to better at writing a little more, too. I post lots of pictures because this has become a kind of scrapbook of sorts for our family. Hopefully, one day I will end of putting it in book form for all the kids and me.

Friends' Birthday

In June, we were invited to a birthday party for twin girls who are Tink's friends from church. They have a big family and most of them live around here, so they had a big party and BBQ at the park. The kids (big and small ;) had a great time! They played a fabulous version of Duck, Duck, Goose! The person who was it carried around a pail of water. When they said Duck, they would sprinkle a little water on the person, but when they said Goose, they would dump the entire bucket of water on the person. It was hilarious to watch! The girl getting the water dumped on her head has the same name as one of my daughters. I just love the expression on her face. Priceless! Pictures of the Belly....FINALLY!!!

Okay, so now that we are 38 1/2 weeks along (as of the date of the pictures), we finally got some pictures of the baby bump....well, it's more of a baby mountain, I think, but at any rate, here they are. Enjoy! See what I mean--it's huge! ;) It's like a little seat for Mya. Here are some new pictures of the cute little booger. She just keeps growing and learning new words. She speaks in sentences and climbs on everything. She loves to brush her teeth and wash her hands. And, inevitably, she has learned the word NO. Sometimes it drives me nuts because she says it no matter what you ask her and no matter if she really does want something or not. I know that all kids are like that, but I kept hoping she wouldn't learn it. Oh well! C'est la vie! :) She learned this from her daddy! :) A cute picture of daddy and daughter at a Primary activity.
