Visit from Nana and Papa, Part 1

Back in February, Nana and Papa came down for a week for Auntie N and Uncle J's temple sealing and to visit all of us. We had a blast with them! We love having visitors!!

This one is my favorite! (And, I took it. Yay, for me!....Now I just have to figure out how to edit it just right.)

After the sealing, we all drove up to Driftwood and had dinner at The Salt Lick BBQ. YUMMY!!! I love that place and that's why we went there because I suggested it. I'm glad my family goes along with all my crazy adventurous whims. (It took about an hour or so to get there from the temple, I think. It's a really pretty, scenic drive, though, through Hill Country.)

While Nana and Papa were down, we also went down to Padre Island and went to the beach. I think it was the perfect time to go because it wasn't hot and wasn't crowded. We were able to just walk up and down the beach, playing in the water and collecting sea shells. The kids LOVED it!

The kiddos had a fabulous time playing in the water and running from the waves. It was entertaining to watch them play.

I love how the water is splashing up and hitting Tink in the bum, especially since she is trying to run from it.

These two had a blast playing together!

I just like the view of this picture.

Almost all of us

After we went to the beach at Padre Island, we stopped at the USS Lexington museum on our way home. Those pictures will be in the next post.
