Easter 2012

So awhile back I had posted some pictures of the kiddos painting eggs for Easter and had told you that we were going to spend Easter with Josie and her family and Auntie N and her family. The kiddos had a great time, I think.

Also, the weekend before Easter, Auntie T and Uncle R and the girls came down to visit, so we celebrated Easter with them by decorating eggs and having an egg hunt. It was fun and we love having visitors! (Hint, hint!) Anyway, enjoy the pictures!

Love this picture of Burnsie! Most of the time she really didn't want her picture taken.

Before the egg hunt and dinner on Easter, we let the kiddos play in the water since the daddies weren't able to be there until later because they were all working. This is one of their favorite hot weather activities, and I must say, it was quite hot that day.

Love how excited and energetic Skinja is!

We had the big kids and little kids split up in the back yard. The big kids actually had to search for most of their eggs, while the little kids mostly just had to pick them up off the ground and put them in their baskets. Between the three older ones, there is a span of about 20 months in age. And, between the three younger ones who hunted, there is a span of about 5 months.

I like this picture because of how the pink egg stands out from the leaves and branches.

Baby K didn't hunt the eggs, but I had to get a picture of him.
