We've Moved!!!

So, we have moved into our new apartment. We live in Cleburne now, which is about an hour south, southwest of where we used to live. so far, everything is going well. We still have some things at Grandma's house, but we will be getting it on Tuesday, Toby's next day off. This weekend we spent all our time loading things up and moving it down to our apartment, so right now, everything is pretty much all over the place. I am going to spend the day tomorrow trying to organize and put things in their place. Two kids make that a lot harder than it used to be, but hopefully, I'll be able to get something done. :)
The kids and I went to our new ward today. Everyone seems super nice and I had about 8 or 10 people introduce themselves to me. I got the feeling that some people thought I might have been a single mom or that my husband isn't active in the church since he wasn't there today, but that's okay. No one actually said anything, but you know how you get those feelings sometimes. Maybe I was just feeling a little insecure about going to a new ward for the first time by myself.
I know it's not much of a post, but I will post pictures of the new place once things settle down a little--hopefully that will be by the end of the week!

Oh moving - can I never move again?I know thats completely unrealistic but I never ever want to move again especially with small children. It can be fun to find a new home for things - you get to play house :).

Friends' Birthday

In June, we were invited to a birthday party for twin girls who are Tink's friends from church. They have a big family and most of them live around here, so they had a big party and BBQ at the park. The kids (big and small ;) had a great time! They played a fabulous version of Duck, Duck, Goose! The person who was it carried around a pail of water. When they said Duck, they would sprinkle a little water on the person, but when they said Goose, they would dump the entire bucket of water on the person. It was hilarious to watch! The girl getting the water dumped on her head has the same name as one of my daughters. I just love the expression on her face. Priceless! Pictures of the Belly....FINALLY!!!

Okay, so now that we are 38 1/2 weeks along (as of the date of the pictures), we finally got some pictures of the baby bump....well, it's more of a baby mountain, I think, but at any rate, here they are. Enjoy! See what I mean--it's huge! ;) It's like a little seat for Mya. Here are some new pictures of the cute little booger. She just keeps growing and learning new words. She speaks in sentences and climbs on everything. She loves to brush her teeth and wash her hands. And, inevitably, she has learned the word NO. Sometimes it drives me nuts because she says it no matter what you ask her and no matter if she really does want something or not. I know that all kids are like that, but I kept hoping she wouldn't learn it. Oh well! C'est la vie! :) She learned this from her daddy! :) A cute picture of daddy and daughter at a Primary activity.
