Mya's Birthday, Halloween and Fun
So it has been almost a month since Mya's birthday, and I am finally posting again. I do have an excuse, though. We are moving!! At first, I was very hesitant to move for many different reasons. One, I really like the ward and all the people at church here. Everyone is super friendly and I have made some pretty good friends here. I'm going to miss everyone, but I know that we need to move. Two, we are moving to an area where our closest family will be about an hour away. We have never lived that far away from family since we have been married. I'm sure it will be a good thing, and I know it really isn't that big of a deal. I think it concerns me because of Toby's crazy work schedule. Three, we have no furniture! :) We sold pretty much everything before we moved down here, so we are going to have to find some. We will have a couple recliners that Grandma is giving us and we have an air mattress we can use until we buy a bed. And, we're trying to buy a bed for Mya. Oh yeah, we also don't have a table and chairs to eat at...
So, because we went to California, we didn't have a big party for Mya. We took her to Disneyland and we got back really late the day before her birthday. However, Toby's mom brought Mya a cake a couple presents, so we had a little birthday celebration with just the three of us. (Daddy had to work.) Here are the pictures:

Of course, we had to get costumes for Halloween! I love Halloween; it is so much fun! We got really great deals on cute costumes for both the kids. Noah's we got for free from a friend from church, and Mya's we got 2 days before Halloween on sale for $5 at Albertsons. I was very excited, and they looked absolutely adorable. We didn't go trick-or-treating, but instead went to a tri-ward trunk-or-treat. (For those of you who don't know what that is, a bunch of people bring their cars to the church parking lot. They decorate their trunks and pass out candy. Then the kids go around just like trick-or-treating.) It is way easier and less stressful than actually going around town trick-or-treating.

These other pictures are just some fun ones I decided to take. I am trying to be better at taking pictures more often and to make sure that I take pictures of each of the kids separately as well as together. I love my two little babies! They are so much fun and so sweet!!!

Oh! We took Mya to the doctor for her 2 year check up--she is so petite! (22.6 pounds, 32") But, she is healthy. She loves her veggies and fruit. She is starting to really get into candy and she loves juice. We try to keep the juice intake down by watering it down and we make sure that more often than not she drinks the sugar free juice mixes. So, I think that's good.
Despite my reservations, I am now totally excited to moving. I'm excited to have our own place again and to put up our pictures and things. I love taking care of Britni and Kelli and am going to miss them terribly, but I am excited for it to be just me and the two little ones. I'm excited to get to know people in our new ward and in our complex. And I'm excited to get to know the area and have fun living in a smaller area. I will post pictures of our new place once we get all settled in.

We also took Noah to his 4 month check up. There is such a huge difference between the two of them! He is 26 1/2" and 15 lbs already. We have started him on cereal, and he loves it. he can't get enough of it!
Well, I guess that's about all for now!
