Rearranging

For Christmas I got a gift card to Walmart. I know it sounds a bit impersonal, but it was perfect because I was able to get some things for the house that I have been wanting for quite a while. I still have a couple things I want to get, but I feel like our apartment is more put together and more homey now.



This bookshelf I got for the kids' movies and some of their books. I'm hoping this will help keep the books from ending up all over the house on the floor. We'll see!



The big picture of our wedding was our Christmas present from Granny and Grumpa. Daddy thought it would make a good center for our family photos. Now we just need to print some more photos and put them up to complete the idea.



Our family pictures used to be here, but since we moved them, we decided to put the Proclamation and The Living Christ here instead.



Here is my other bookshelf. I love having easy access to my books!



We decided this wall would be our church leadership wall, so we have the current First Presidency and President Hinckley and the "Be"s that he taught.

Friends' Birthday

In June, we were invited to a birthday party for twin girls who are Tink's friends from church. They have a big family and most of them live around here, so they had a big party and BBQ at the park. The kids (big and small ;) had a great time! They played a fabulous version of Duck, Duck, Goose! The person who was it carried around a pail of water. When they said Duck, they would sprinkle a little water on the person, but when they said Goose, they would dump the entire bucket of water on the person. It was hilarious to watch! The girl getting the water dumped on her head has the same name as one of my daughters. I just love the expression on her face. Priceless! Pictures of the Belly....FINALLY!!!

Okay, so now that we are 38 1/2 weeks along (as of the date of the pictures), we finally got some pictures of the baby bump....well, it's more of a baby mountain, I think, but at any rate, here they are. Enjoy! See what I mean--it's huge! ;) It's like a little seat for Mya. Here are some new pictures of the cute little booger. She just keeps growing and learning new words. She speaks in sentences and climbs on everything. She loves to brush her teeth and wash her hands. And, inevitably, she has learned the word NO. Sometimes it drives me nuts because she says it no matter what you ask her and no matter if she really does want something or not. I know that all kids are like that, but I kept hoping she wouldn't learn it. Oh well! C'est la vie! :) She learned this from her daddy! :) A cute picture of daddy and daughter at a Primary activity.
