Havin' Fun

This past week hasn't been too hectic, but this week is going to be crazy! I have 3 Pampered Chef shows, a Mary Kay party, 2 doctor appointments, plus all the other regular activities of the week (i.e. playgroup, mutual for Daddy, chores, etc.). Hopefully, we will all survive the week. On top of all that, Daddy has a pretty bad cold. I went to the store this morning to get some medicine for him, but he won't be able to take it until he gets home from work later today.
The weather was really nice last week. We tried to play outside as much as we could, which wasn't much since I felt just exhausted all week. We did get to play in the leaves, and that was a lot of fun. I want to take the kids out again, but we'll see if we can find time this week when it's not too cold out. (We had a cold front move in last night. Yesterday is was at least 75 degrees out, and today it is overcast, windy and only about 50 degrees. I know that isn't really all that cold, but when your body is used to not having to wear a jacket or anything else, it feels like it's freezing.)
Saturday Daddy and I went to the TCU/Utah game with a couple from church. It was pretty fun even though we were cheering for Utah and they lost 55 to 28, I think. I know me a BYU grad cheering for Utah??? Well, I like to cheer for the underdog team when it's not my team playing, and Utah was definitely the underdog at that game. Besides, the couple we went with are Utah fans. ;) We had pretty good seats, sort of. We had standing room only tickets in the end zone. At first it kind of stunk because everyone who was standing up front was a giant. I'm not kidding. They almost all were at least 6 feet tall. So for the first half of the game, I couldn't really see anything. Then at half time, most of them left, so we managed to get to the front and could see the game. We left before the game was over because we had to park almost 2 miles away from the stadium and the fact that Utah was losing pretty badly was a pretty good incentive to leave as well.
Sunday we had Stake Conference in Weatherford at the new Stake Center. It was pretty good. I enjoyed all the talks and felt edified and spiritually fed. It was nice. Then there was a 4 person baptism afterwards, one of whom is in our ward, so we stayed for that too.

Teeny doing a somersault in the grass. She loves to do those all the time! I'm thinking of putting her in gymnastics when she gets a little older.

Teeny adopted a couple in our ward as Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma made this cute little sock monkey ballerina for her, and she loves it!

I finally glued the flowers onto the clips for Teeny. I think they look super cute--and they're so easy!

Just a cute picture of the Monster

Monster ripped the pads off our Rock Band drum set and put them on his feet. It was pretty funny watching him walk around the house with them on.

Here you can actually see the Rock Band logos on the drum pads.

I want a sock monkey. I didn't know you could make them. I keep eyeing them at Target.
