BYU Football at Cowboys Stadium
Last night Daddy and I went to Cowboys Stadium to watch BYU play OU (Oklahoma). We were so incredibly excited to go to the new stadium and see the Cougars play. Everyone kept talking about how badly BYU was going to get beat by the Sooners, but I guess we showed them! ;) For those of you who don't know, BYU won the game 14 to 13, and I think most--if not all--predictions were for OU to win by 20-something points. Honestly, I would have been okay if BYU had lost as long as it was a good game. I really wanted them to win, of course. It was such a great game!
The stadium is also a sight to see. It is just a massive building!!! I can't explain or describe the enormity of it. I forgot the memory card for our camera, so these pictures are from Daddy's iPhone. It doesn't have zoom, so these pictures are pretty small. We were sitting almost at the very top of the stadium, but because of the jumbo tron, it didn't really matter.

I think this was at the end of the game.

This was before the game started.

Those things hanging from the ceiling are speakers, and we were told that they are the size of a trailer on an 18-wheeler. Gargantuan!

I don't know if you can see it, but under the big screen is "Mitsubishi," and we were told that those letters were 5 feet tall. How crazy is that!

4 guys painted themselves blue and had "BYU!" on their chests.

Toby had to get a picture of the "beer guy" trying to sell beer in the BYU section. We thought it was pretty amusing!

Congrats on getting one of them gone! We're having a problem prioritizing our savings goals. We seem to get direction when we're done with one. I'm not really into doing anything simulataneously. I just like to knock one thing out at a time. We're thinking the next thing will be putting a ceiling fan in our living room and wiring for surround sound.
Looks like the new place is sweet...
