Suggestions?

So, I have decided to try to be more diligent about teaching my children the importance of the Sabbath Day and keeping it holy. And I am having a hard time coming up with ideas on activities for them (mainly Teeny right now) to do on Sunday. They take naps which takes up about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Sometimes we play little Gospel-themed games that I got from an FHE lesson book, and sometimes we watch Church videos or Scripture movies; the problem with that is we only have 2. So, they get old pretty quickly. ;) I am trying to avoid watching regular TV and movies to help them distinguish the difference in Sunday and other days. I would love suggestions from anyone on things they do with their children or things they will do with their children when they have them or things they know that other people do. We do read scriptures, but we do that every other day of the week as well. And little kids will only sit still for a few verses. ;)

Update on Daddy: I think he has dry socket in one of the extraction sites. Yuck! It is really bothering him. Oh! And he only has 2 doses of his pain meds left, and the pharmacy is closed tomorrow. AND, the dentists office is closed tomorrow too. His follow-up appointment isn't until next week!!! I'm going to get him some Ibuprofen tomorrow and hopefully that will be enough until we can get some more meds on Tuesday. :)

Oh! I don't know if I mentioned it at all yet, but Monster has started walking. He's not officially fully a walking toddler, but he takes about 4-10 steps at a time before falling down. And, he's actually interested in walking and gets very determined at times. He loves it when we get excited for him and clap. Then he smiles real big and claps too. It is very cute!

We go for walks - And point out the things that Jesus has made. Kate likes finger plays so we sing some church songs (but often because they've sung them at church that day it can bore them). I think Sunday is a great day to read books - do you have any where the charachters pray before bed to supplement your religious selection?

Do you have the Book of Mormorn Reader and the Bible ones too that you can get through distribution (free shipping). Admittedly mine are DI copies but Jack really likes the pictures in them.

For us the main focus on Sundays is to spend time together as a family so we also do a lot of kid centered activities that aren't necessarily churchy.
