SEA WORLD!

Yay!!! We finally were able to take the kiddos to Sea World. Teeny was super-excited to see the Orcas. (She watches Go Diego Go.) It was so much fun to see the shows and all the animals. It was even more entertaining to watch the kids reactions to everything. We have some pictures that turned out pretty well, but I am convinced that if I hadn't left our camera at home, we would have more and better pictures. (We ended up renting a camera that isn't as nice as ours, but it served its purpose.)

Surprise!!!! We're going to Sea World!

Teeny being a goofball and ready to see the Orcas

Monster's ready to see the fishies, sharks and whales

Lil Chicky all ready to go to Sea World

All of us watching the fishes--If you click on this one, you can see Monster in his ready-to-run stance. He did that a lot that day. He loves to run!

Monster watching the fishies

Pre-show entertainment--There were all these little platforms that had fountains that would spray at different times. This guy would get sprayed randomly. Then he decided to try to stop the water from spraying and end up soaking the audience. It was quite amusing!

Beluga giving kisses

So, I'm sure you're wondering why I have a picture of one of the trainers cuz that's not at all interesting. Well, in this picture, she is actually explaining to the audience that the show got delayed while they tried to re-focus a particular male dolphin. (It is mating season, and there are 6 females and 2 males in the show. I'm sure you can figure out why he needed re-focusing. ;)

Dolphin "swimming" backwards (Random side note: We also saw them swimming upside down under water, but I guess we didn't get pictures of that.)

I like how the Beluga looks so human-like in this picture.

Dolphin during the Azul show--I loved watching them jump out of the water and do tricks. They're so beautiful!

Teeny really wanted to go on this little ride, so I decided to take her and Monster. It was nice and relaxing. (You have to click on this picture to see the look in Monster's eyes. It's priceless!)

Penguins (In case you can't tell. ;) A sign said it was 27 degrees in there! Burrr!!!

Afton and me after the Shamu show--You can't really tell, but we were both pretty wet. We almost didn't make it into the last show of the day, and the only seats we found where we could all fit was the second row of the Splash Zone. Needless to say, we weren't able to get any pictures of the whales or the splashing for fear of ruining the camera.
