Playing and Having Fun

Here are some pictures from August.


I know this picture looks really weird. We call it his Old Man Face. Daddy was taking pictures while Monster was running and somehow managed to get this one. We think it is when his foot first hit the ground. It's amazing what a camera can capture at just the right moment.




I can't believe my little girl is almost 4!

I like this one of Monster a lot. It just seems to capture him so well.



My monkey girl--Usually, she tries to do this on the OUTSIDE of the railing. Talk about giving me a heart attack!



Lil Chicky tried Rice Cereal for the first time, and both the kids had to help feed her. Monster needed a little assistance. He really didn't want it, but I did anyway. (He's become uber independent lately!)



Teeny's such a little mother hen, which I guess fits, since she calls her little sister, Lil Chicky. ;)



I think Lil Chicky's eyes look so pretty in this picture.

Friends' Birthday

In June, we were invited to a birthday party for twin girls who are Tink's friends from church. They have a big family and most of them live around here, so they had a big party and BBQ at the park. The kids (big and small ;) had a great time! They played a fabulous version of Duck, Duck, Goose! The person who was it carried around a pail of water. When they said Duck, they would sprinkle a little water on the person, but when they said Goose, they would dump the entire bucket of water on the person. It was hilarious to watch! The girl getting the water dumped on her head has the same name as one of my daughters. I just love the expression on her face. Priceless! Tink was laughing so hard when she got to dump the water on a big kid's head. I wish you could see her face. It was awesome. Tink eating a hot dog Skinja playing on the giant slip n slide

Pictures of the Belly....FINALLY!!!

Okay, so now that we are 38 1/2 weeks along (as of the date of the pictures), we finally got some pictures of the baby bump....well, it's more of a baby mountain, I think, but at any rate, here they are. Enjoy! See what I mean--it's huge! ;) It's like a little seat for Mya. Here are some new pictures of the cute little booger. She just keeps growing and learning new words. She speaks in sentences and climbs on everything. She loves to brush her teeth and wash her hands. And, inevitably, she has learned the word NO. Sometimes it drives me nuts because she says it no matter what you ask her and no matter if she really does want something or not. I know that all kids are like that, but I kept hoping she wouldn't learn it. Oh well! C'est la vie! :) She learned this from her daddy! :) A cute picture of daddy and daughter at a Primary activity.
