We've Moved!

So, we decided that it was time to move...next door. We literally moved into the apartment right next to our old one. It made for a fairly quick and easy move. I wasn't wanting to move since I am almost 8 months pregnant, but since it was just next door, I figured it would be okay. Then, Daddy's grandpa died and Daddy left the Thursday before we were supposed to start moving to go to the funeral. I was a little worried about having to try to get everything moved without him here, but it worked out pretty well. I had a couple friends who came over and helped move most of the smaller stuff the afternoon I got the keys, and that night I had a few guys from church come over and move pretty much everything else. Then, on Saturday all I had to do was move the last few things and clean up the old apartment. The kids' "adopted" grandma (Grandma W) came over to help clean and also a few young women. They were a fantastic help, and we were able to get the whole apartment clean in just 3-4 hours. If I would have had to do it myself, it would have taken all day. And to top it all off, today I had the sister missionaries and Grandma W come over and help me put away the rest of the new apartment. I LOVE  how helpful and willing to serve everyone at church is. It has helped me so much this past weekend, and I appreciate it so much! All I really have left to do is put up all our pictures and decorations--oh! and curtains. I'm so excited to be pretty much settled after only 5 days! Now, if we could only find a working washer and dryer....since that's part of the reason--okay, the main reason--we moved. I guess I'll have to do this week's laundry in the complex facilities. Hopefully, we'll have a washer and dryer by next week. And, in case you're wondering, No, the apartment we moved into isn't any bigger. It does have washer and dryer hook-ups and is $65 a month cheaper than our other one was. Go figure! :)
