Christmas in Abalamy

We spent 5 days in Alabama for our Christmas vacation. Teeny and Monster love being out at Granny and Grumpa's house. The weather was pretty nice, so we were able to play outside a little bit. It was a very nice, relaxing vacation, and we had fun hanging out with Granny and Grumpa and Uncle RB. We also had a special experience with them on Saturday when Daddy was able to baptize Uncle RB. It was an amazing experience and the spirit was very strong. We are so glad that we were able to participate in and witness such a wonderful thing in his life.
I don't have the pictures from Christmas morning when the kiddos unwrapped presents. We didn't use our camera during that part because we had the video camera set up, but Granny and Grumpa took lots of pictures. We got copies of them, but I don't know where Daddy put the flash drive they're on. So, I'll have to post those ones later. Here are some pictures of before and after Christmas in Alabama.

Teeny playing fetch with Maggie

Monster on the tire swing for the very first time. I absolutely LOVE that look on his face!

I think this was on the day we got there or the day after. Obviously, it was nice enough out that Teeny didn't think she needed her sweater. In the sunshine it was pretty decent, but the shade and wind were a bit chilly.

This is what happens when one little Monster gets too close to the tire swing while Sissy is riding on it. It barely grazed him, but it left a nice mark.

It snowed for about 10 minutes Christmas morning, so we got the kids dressed up in their warm clothes and let them go out on the porch to watch the snow fall. It was really light, barely there kind of snow. It was raining before and turned back in to rain afterwards, but at least we can say we got snow on Christmas!

I love this look on her face. At first, it might look like she's mad, but actually, she is in the middle of telling me, "See, Mom, I told you it was going to snow!" She  says it in this tone that is very how-dare-you-not-believe-me.

The kiddos thought Uncle RB made a pretty comfy seat to watch TV on.

Uncle RB taking Teeny for a ride. (It was so nice to have other people around to keep the kids entertained. It was a nice little break for me! :)

Monster was tired and just went and lay down on this rug.
