Christmas Decorating

Last Monday for family home evening, we put up and decorated our Christmas tree. It was a lot of fun. I love watching the kids get excited and run around the tree. Of course, with small children our tree is now missing decorations on the bottom foot and a half of the tree, but that's okay.

Here we go 'round the Christmas tree....

The kiddos were having fun circling the tree while I was fixing the branches.

The chase is on!

Monster was either being chased by his sissy or Daddy scared him. He is hilarious when he gets surprised because he screams and then tries to run away.

I thought this was a pretty good shot of my belly,

I think Teeny is head-butting my bum in this one--she's crazy like that!

Monster hiding in the tree box

Monster Santa

Teeny Santa--The kids LOVE to wear the Santa hats around the house!

Monster's first time helping decorate our tree--although I think he'd much rather un-decorate it...

Monster in his monster jammies--We found these at the Carter's outlet and thought they were perfect for our little Monster-man.

He has just started to like to read books, so when I saw this I had to take a picture. I love having children who enjoy books as much as I do!

Kiddos all bundled up at the Parade of Lights--It was a bit chilly out, and we almost didn't go. I took the kids last year by myself because Daddy was working, and we want it to be a little tradition of ours to go...so, we decided to go. I think the kids enjoyed it, especially getting to see Santa at the end!

Teeny & Daddy

While we were in Longview for Thanksgiving, we took the kids to this really big park. They had a blast running around and exploring everywhere. Teeny loves to swing, especially when Daddy pushes her. Monster decided to give the tire swing a try, but he didn't last too long before he looked like he was gonna get sick!

Teeny thought this swing was really neat--looks comfy to me (for a swing, anyway).

Teeny running through the tunnel (probably away from her cousin ;)

Monster climbing the stairs--I think the sign said it was a stegosaurus, but it was just some steps going up and down.

Teeny playing on the front of the train

Daddy surprising Monster--That is actually a little window at the top of a tunnel slide. Daddy climbed up the outside, so he could scare Monster. I thought it was pretty funny.

Tree looks good. We just do candy canes on the top half of the tree if they get destroyed, oh well.
