Family & Friends

This weekend Daddy's brother and his wife and kids came out to visit. We had a lot of fun visiting and hanging out with them. Saturday we went out for dinner and went to a free splash pad at a park here in town. Daddy after church grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. Teeny absolutely loves playing with her cousins.

Now, who does this remind you of? He's a lot like his Uncle.


I babysat a little boy whose dad works with Daddy. Teeny loves having him over and playing with him. We built a fort out of the recliners and a blanket. They had a lot of fun with it.



Not much else has been going on this week. We are starting to get ready for our long trip up north to our family reunions. It is going to be a lot of driving, but we are really excited to see all of our family.

Friends' Birthday

In June, we were invited to a birthday party for twin girls who are Tink's friends from church. They have a big family and most of them live around here, so they had a big party and BBQ at the park. The kids (big and small ;) had a great time! They played a fabulous version of Duck, Duck, Goose! The person who was it carried around a pail of water. When they said Duck, they would sprinkle a little water on the person, but when they said Goose, they would dump the entire bucket of water on the person. It was hilarious to watch! The girl getting the water dumped on her head has the same name as one of my daughters. I just love the expression on her face. Priceless! Pictures of the Belly....FINALLY!!!

Okay, so now that we are 38 1/2 weeks along (as of the date of the pictures), we finally got some pictures of the baby bump....well, it's more of a baby mountain, I think, but at any rate, here they are. Enjoy! See what I mean--it's huge! ;) It's like a little seat for Mya. Here are some new pictures of the cute little booger. She just keeps growing and learning new words. She speaks in sentences and climbs on everything. She loves to brush her teeth and wash her hands. And, inevitably, she has learned the word NO. Sometimes it drives me nuts because she says it no matter what you ask her and no matter if she really does want something or not. I know that all kids are like that, but I kept hoping she wouldn't learn it. Oh well! C'est la vie! :) She learned this from her daddy! :) A cute picture of daddy and daughter at a Primary activity.
