Of Course!
Not too much has been going on this past week. Monster's sixth tooth came in two days ago. From what I can see in his mouth, this will be the last one for a little while. Most of the other teeth look like they are quite a ways from coming in, so that will be nice to have a break from that. He is starting to cruise on the furniture but only if he sees something he really wants. His balance is getting really good. He can stand up for a few seconds without any help, but he gets distracted pretty quickly.
Teeny is finally starting to grow. I have started to put away some of her clothes that don't fit her anymore, but she is still as petite as ever. In the past week, I have had 5 or 6 people tell me how much they love her little voice. They think she has the cutest little kid voice. She has started to answer questions with "Of course!" She likes to use big words like disgusting ("asgusting") and hilarious ("larious"). She loves to give hugs and kisses. She is a ton of fun to have around, and Monster loves to play with her.
On Wednesday of this week, I watched a friend's little boy, and we had lots of fun together. Teeny and he got along really well and were like two little peas in a pod. Hopefully, we'll be able to get together with them more often, so they can play together.
We also had some friends from Utah come on Thursday night, so we've been hanging out with them. It is so nice to see them again. We wish we could move back to Utah to be around all our family and friends there, but we know that right now this is where we're supposed to be.
Anyway, our friends have a small dog that both Teeny and Monster love. Monster is not afraid of any animal and doesn't shy away from the dog. He actually made her afraid of him because he pulled her hair and ear.
Teeny, on the other hand, loves dogs and is always saying hi to them and wanting to pet them, but as soon as they get close to her, she starts to back up and get a little scared. She was doing that with Grace (the dog) for the first day or two, but last night Teeny started to pet Grace and let her get close. She even let Grace give her a kiss before she went to bed. I'm glad that she is warming up to Grace so quickly because we would like to be able to have a dog one of these days. :)
