Family Time
So, last Sunday (the 29th) after church we decided to drive out to Daddy's brother's house to take him a dryer. We were planning to just stay for a couple hours and then drive back home. Of course, that didn't happen. We ended up going to a music thing at the church Uncle T and Aunt A go to. Since it was so late when we got back, we decided to stay the night.
On Monday we all decided to go to the zoo in Tyler. It was pretty fun! Teeny loved it. She wanted to pet all the animals we saw. The best part of it, I think was when we went to feed the birds. Teeny kept getting freaked out when the birds would land on her, but if she went out, she wanted to go back in. Monster, on the other hand, just sat there like it was completely natural to have birds landing on his arms. One of the birds actually bit him on the finger, and he didn't even make a sound. We went out to a Chinese buffet that evening and then when home.
On Tuesday Teeny went to the dentist to get a cavity filled. They gave her some "happy air" and I guess she did really well. I wasn't in there because Daddy is better at getting her to be relaxed and cooperate. He said that at one point she had almost fallen asleep and then jolted awake. She took the mask off and grabbed the tool away from the dentist. She looked at Daddy and he got her to relax again, so they could finish. Anyway, her tooth looks amazing. It is a front tooth and was chipped, but now you can't even tell anything was wrong with it.
Daddy's work is going pretty well. They have started a new schedule again. They are now on Monday through Friday and have every weekend off. I'm so excited that he gets to go to church with us every week. I kind of wish we were on the 14-7 schedule because I liked being able to go on vacation whenever we wanted, but with that schedule he only got to go to church once or twice a month. His work has also started lay-offs, but as far as we know, they won't be letting go of anymore e-techs.
Oh! I almost forgot that on Saturday we went to Omi's house. We bought a really nice sofa from her and then went to her new place. Teeny and Monster had a lot of fun playing with their Omi. We hadn't seen her in quite awhile and it was nice to be able to visit for a little bit.
We also wanted to see Auntie T and the girls but that didn't work out. Oh well, maybe next time. We're hoping that since Daddy has weekends off we'll be able to see the girls more often. We really miss being with them, and I know Teeny misses playing with them a lot.
This is the most relaxed Teeny was the whole time she was in there. Right after I took this picture, she started getting really jumpy.

Those are a pair of Teeny's pajama pants, and she is stuffing all of her pajamas into them. She succeeded in getting every pair of pajamas from her dresser into the pants. What a goof! :)
I was taking a shower when Teeny decided to get my glasses and wear them. She told Daddy she was wearing her sunglasses. Hmmm....silly girl! :)
