Healthy Family
We are feeling much better this week. I still have a little bit of a stuffy nose, but I am feeling a thousand times better. I have been able to get things straightened up. It is amazing how messy the house can get in just a week's time. I think Noah is feeling better as well. His nose is still runny a little, but he isn't coughing near as much as he was. However, his four front top teeth are all trying to come in at the same time, so that has been making him a bit cranky lately. I will be glad when they finally come in! :) Mya managed to avoid getting sick at all. Yay!
By the end of the week, we will all have been to the dentist. I went last week for a check up and today for a cleaning. I'm glad to have it over with and have a new found desire to take care of my teeth and gums. I have been doing really well at brushing twice a day, flossing and rinsing with a peroxide based mouthwash. I know that is what I should have been doing all along, but I hadn't so I'm starting now. I have also gotten Mya on a better schedule where I floss her teeth every night and brush them twice a day. It can be challenging since she wants to do it all by herself and she isn't quite able to get it all. I try to sing a little song we made up while I brush them to make it easier. The funny thing is that Daddy can do it for her with no problems or complaints, most of the time.
Toby and I are also going to get physicals this week. Since we have really good insurance through Toby's work, I have decided to be better at getting our regular check ups done to make sure we are all in good health and don't have anything to worry about. Plus, I need to get a new prescription for my asthma medication.
Oh! Valentine's Day was nice. Toby had the day off and we were able to just hang out at home. That evening we went to Tisha and Rachelle's and had dinner together with them. It was just a nice relaxing day. I got my Valentine's present the evening before. Toby had gotten me a Pajamagram, and it was delivered on Friday. I love my new PJs! They are purple with white polka dots. They are nursing/maternity jammies, so I can nurse Noah in them and continue to wear them when I get pregnant again. I'm very excited! I love pajamas--they're so comfy!
