Montanutah Trip, Part 1: Fort Union

We decided to take a trip up to Montana and Utah to visit our family up north. Since there wasn't a family reunion planned, we were able to do some fun things we probably wouldn't have done otherwise. One of the days we were in Montana, we decided to take the kids to Fort Union Trading Post. I enjoyed going there when I was growing up, and I thought it would be fun and educational for the kids.

Playing with Uncle Jer

As you can see, Skinj doesn't sit still very often or for very long, so in case you're wondering, that's why there aren't as many pics of him as there are of the girls.

Prairie dog

Love both these pics!

Um, so I don't really like this pic of me, but that's because I'm all swollen from the car ride up to Montana.
It was the best of the bunch, though. Skinja doesn't do well with bright sunlight. lol

I like this picture because of the view--open prairie and big blue skies. I love Montana!

I can't even imagine that car ride. We have heard a chorus of are we there yet for the last two weeks.
