Our New Home
I think most of you know that we moved to San Antonio back in the end of January. I can't believe we have been here for 4 1/2 months! It has been great to be able to be close to Daddy's work again and get to see him every night. That is priceless. It did take some adjusting for all of us, but it was/is definitely worth it. I still miss my friends from Cleburne and am still in the process of making new friends down here, but I know this is where we need to be right now. It was a foreclosure and had been empty for almost a year. We've done a little bit of work on it and still need to do more, but it is a great place for us. The house sits on a little over an acre of land. It needs quite a bit of work too, but we love it. Here are some pictures of our first home. (A few of the pictures aren't completely in focus, but you can get the general idea.)
This is an extra room that we use for the play room/craft room/computer room. I'm hoping to get a treadmill and set it up in here as well. It still needs quite a bit of work, but I've got ideas of things to do with it.
The kitchen--We had to put in all the appliances. We already had the fridge, so we only had to buy the stove, microwave and dishwasher. We eventually want to redo the kitchen because it is a little small and awkward.
The dining room view from the kitchen--We're thinking of maybe getting a custom built bench/nook built into the corner on the left. The doorway on the left goes to the master bedroom and the one on the right goes to the back door and guest bedroom.
Living room
Master bedroom--We want to eventually turn the step-up area into a lounging/reading area, but I think first, it will become a little nursery area.
Master bathroom--There are two closets in here, a large shower and a separate toilet area.
Living room view from the front door
Skinja's bedroom--We have plans for this room as well. Right now the deocr theme is going to be Spiderman.
Kids' bathroom
Girls' bedroom--Tink keeps changing her mind on what colors she wants in here.
Garage/storage--We are eventually going to turn this into a guest house.

I didn't get any pictures of the backyard when I took these, but hopefully, I will eventually get some posted.
