Fun Times, New House

So, if you haven't figured it out by now, I LOVE taking pictures! ;) With the move and trying to get settled, I realized I actually hadn't taken that many since Christmas. (Well, that was actually as of a week or two ago. Since then, I have taken quite a few.) Although I'm not quite ready to show y'all all of my house yet--it's still a work in progress. I have a few pictures that will give you a peek at our new place. And of course, I have some fun pictures of the kiddos. I just think I have the most adorable children in the world, so I have to take lots of pictures of all the cute things they do! ;)

So, we were in the middle of watching The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, and Tink decided she needed to have a knife, shield, belt and helmet. She had already drawn a saw that I cut out for her, and I drew and cut out a log for her to saw. So, she figured we could make her armor out of paper. She had me draw the sword. We had fun making it, and she had a blast playing with it. Oh, the imagination of a child!

This was the first wall decor I was able to get put up in the new place, and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. Thanks, Sis, for the cute stuff! ;)



Last Saturday (I think) Daddy found Teetee in the dining room taking all the food off the shelves, so we decided to take some pictures. The one below was actually taken before this one. So sweet!





Any one know what this mess is? ;) If you guessed a whole bunch of mostly broken gumballs, then you're a winner! (No prizes awarded, just the satisfaction of knowing what broken gumballs look like. ;) Daddy was trying to get a gumball for Skinja off one of our highest shelves, and they all came tumbling down out of the bag. Needless to say, we had quite the mess, but I think the picture actually looks kind of pretty.



I like this picture of Teetee because you can see her pretty blue eyes really well and her cute little teeth.

Friends' Birthday

In June, we were invited to a birthday party for twin girls who are Tink's friends from church. They have a big family and most of them live around here, so they had a big party and BBQ at the park. The kids (big and small ;) had a great time! They played a fabulous version of Duck, Duck, Goose! The person who was it carried around a pail of water. When they said Duck, they would sprinkle a little water on the person, but when they said Goose, they would dump the entire bucket of water on the person. It was hilarious to watch! The girl getting the water dumped on her head has the same name as one of my daughters. I just love the expression on her face. Priceless! Pictures of the Belly....FINALLY!!!

Okay, so now that we are 38 1/2 weeks along (as of the date of the pictures), we finally got some pictures of the baby bump....well, it's more of a baby mountain, I think, but at any rate, here they are. Enjoy! See what I mean--it's huge! ;) It's like a little seat for Mya. Here are some new pictures of the cute little booger. She just keeps growing and learning new words. She speaks in sentences and climbs on everything. She loves to brush her teeth and wash her hands. And, inevitably, she has learned the word NO. Sometimes it drives me nuts because she says it no matter what you ask her and no matter if she really does want something or not. I know that all kids are like that, but I kept hoping she wouldn't learn it. Oh well! C'est la vie! :) She learned this from her daddy! :) A cute picture of daddy and daughter at a Primary activity.
