Missing Teeny

For the past two weeks, Teeny has been in Alabama spending time with her Granny and Grumpa. Her three cousins are there with her too. She has been having a blast feeding the pigs and chickens, collecting eggs, playing with the puppies and kitties, and all that fun stuff. She has been roasting marshmallows and hot dogs, sleeping in a tent, watching movies, playing on the slip and slide, and hanging out with her cousins. While we are very grateful that she is having so much fun and enjoying her time there, we are missing her terribly. I almost drove out there last week to go and see her because I was missing her so much.
Instead, the kids are staying until next Thursday, but I will be there on Monday and will be bringing all the kids back. I am leaving Sunday after church and driving to Arkansas to visit with my best friend from high school. She is letting Monster and me stay over night, and then on Monday we will drive the rest of the way to Alabama. I am very excited to see Teeny and to be out there. I have only been to their house once about a year and a half ago. I also think Monster will have fun. He loves to be outside and around animals. I think this will perfect for him.
Although, I have been missing my little Teeny, I have enjoyed being able to spend time with just Noah, and I think it has been good for him, too. I have also been able to get quite a few things done. I got some more decorative things put up in the house. I have finished putting the kids' room together. I bought curtains for the living room and Toby helped me put them up. I worked on one of my Heritage Makers projects and some family presents. I have also been working on ideas for activities and fun things to do with the kids when Teeny gets home. And, I have been able to get lots of sleep.
