California

We had a blast spending almost two weeks in California. We didn't get to do all the things that I wanted, but we did get to do a lot. We went to the beach and played in the sand and waves. We went to Disneyland and saw the Newport Beach Temple. We also went to the Tide Pools in Newport Beach, spent time with our friends and family, went to a Pumpin Patch and played at a couple parks. Enjoy the pictures!

























I don't have pictures from the tide pools because we only had the video camera there, but I have some really cute ones I'll post when I get them on the computer. If you haven't been to California and/or Disneyland, it is definitely something I think everyone should do. We had so much fun! It was great to see how Mya reacted to everything. She is so sweet. We also really enjoyed spending time with our family and friends who we haven't see for quite some time. Now, it is back to the daily grind of work and budgeting and all that fun. We probably won't be making anymore big trips any time soon so that we can get completely out of debt and save up to buy a house. We're glad that we could go on a fun family vacation and just spend some good quality and quantity time together, and hopefully, we'll be able to do some more travelling once we get out of debt.

I was suprised that Kate had so much fun at the Zoo. I only expected Jack to get something out of it. We're thinking of taking Jack to the pumpkin patch but were not sure yet. And were thinking Disneyland when Jack is at least 6.

Friends' Birthday

In June, we were invited to a birthday party for twin girls who are Tink's friends from church. They have a big family and most of them live around here, so they had a big party and BBQ at the park. The kids (big and small ;) had a great time! They played a fabulous version of Duck, Duck, Goose! The person who was it carried around a pail of water. When they said Duck, they would sprinkle a little water on the person, but when they said Goose, they would dump the entire bucket of water on the person. It was hilarious to watch! The girl getting the water dumped on her head has the same name as one of my daughters. I just love the expression on her face. Priceless! Pictures of the Belly....FINALLY!!!

Okay, so now that we are 38 1/2 weeks along (as of the date of the pictures), we finally got some pictures of the baby bump....well, it's more of a baby mountain, I think, but at any rate, here they are. Enjoy! See what I mean--it's huge! ;) It's like a little seat for Mya. Here are some new pictures of the cute little booger. She just keeps growing and learning new words. She speaks in sentences and climbs on everything. She loves to brush her teeth and wash her hands. And, inevitably, she has learned the word NO. Sometimes it drives me nuts because she says it no matter what you ask her and no matter if she really does want something or not. I know that all kids are like that, but I kept hoping she wouldn't learn it. Oh well! C'est la vie! :) She learned this from her daddy! :) A cute picture of daddy and daughter at a Primary activity.
