Updates

Life has been....well, I was going to say crazy, but I think that I always say that, so that must mean that is how my life is normally. So, life has been life. :)
Let's see... in May we went to the Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth for our playgroup outing. It ended up just being the kids and me and one other lady and her daughter, but it was still very enjoyable.

The snake the girls spotted in the Rose Gardens (At first the other mom and I thought the girls were just pretending when they told us they saw a snake until we spotted it. The girls wanted to follow it and look at it. We, on the other hand, wanted to stay as far away as possible.)

Monster at the Gardens

Teeny has still been going to gymnastics. She was not wanting to go for a couple weeks and I had to go into the gym with her to help her warm up. But I think she is starting to get over that now. She had a blast today. They got to do beam and bars. I think she is improving. She is the smallest in the class. Big surprise there, right? ;)

Monster has been going through a biting phase that I cannot wait to be over! I'm not exactly sure why he does it. Sometimes it seems like it is because he gets frustrated or excited and doesn't know what else to do. Other times it seems like he just wants to bite something. I know it is a completely normal phase for toddlers to go through, but the sooner it's over, the better. He is getting his two year molars, so I guess that could be part of it.
Monster is starting to talk more and more each day. He is still hard to understand, but I know he is trying to say more things. A lot of what he says sounds the same, so I often have to ask three or four times before I figure out the correct thing. But it is so much fun watching him progress.
BG (I decided not to call her Strawberry. BG is way easier. :) is growing like crazy. I can't believe she is already 3 months old! She laughs and smiles all the time. She rolls over occasionally and has started grasping on to things. She has also discovered her hands and how much fun it is to suck on them. Now that I finally found my camera battery charger, I can start taking more pictures again to share.
Daddy and I went to Video Games Live at the Dallas Symphony last weekend. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it was actually quite entertaining. Last month we were able to go to see the musical "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" at the local theater company. BG was in the production as Baby Hannah, and everyone loved her. I had people telling me that they thought she was a doll at first and how impressed they were at how well behaved she was. She didn't cry once when she was on stage, and she appeared in about 16 of the shows.
