Just Another Day in Paradise

So, I couldn't think of a title for this blog, and I really like that song by Phil Vassar. Anyway, these past two weeks have just flown by it seems. I'm really trying to write every week, but the time just seems to get away from me. Life just seems to get busier and busier by the day. I guess that's how it goes when you have kids. :) And you know, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I love my life and I love my family.

I have discovered the greatness that is online journaling at ldsjournal.com. I absolutely love it! I haven't actually started keeping my journal on it yet because I want to finish the paper one I have right now. However, they have this really cool feature where they have a giant list of questions to help you record your personal history, and I have been working on that. It's really cool. I think that everyone should go and check it out. :)

Toby has applied for a new position in his company. He would be the IT manager and have regular hours. Yay for an 8-5 M-F work week. It would be a salaried position as well, so we would be making less overall, but I don't care. I would much rather have my husband home in the evenings and on weekends than have the money. We haven't heard back yet about whether or not he got the job but are remaining hopeful because everyone seems certain that he was going to get the job if he applied. If he does get it, we will be moving up to Gainesville, TX most likely. That is about an hour north of where we are now. If he doesn't get it, we will still be moving. Instead we would be moving south of here about 45 minutes, possibly to Cleburne.

I know that once we start moving everything, I will probably hate it, but right now I'm kind of excited. I'm excited for it to be just us again, especially since we have only had that for about a third of our marriage. That wasn't even consecutively either. I'm not complaining because I know the Lord directed us in those situations, but it will be nice for sure.

And here is my plug for Pampered Chef: The holidays are coming up and it seems that everyone is looking for a way to earn a little extra money. If this is you or someone you know please give me a call. Pampered Chef is a great way to earn some extra cash, and get great kitchenware for less. If you would like to host a show to get free products, we can do that too. Check out my website: www.pamperedchef.biz/julina. Okay, I wanted to do that because I am really trying to get my business moving. I have discovered how much I enjoy doing it.

The kids are fantastic. They seem to be growing by leaps and bounds everyday. They so much fun to be with and I truly love watching them grow. I'm so grateful that I've been blessed to be a partner with my husband and Heavenly Father in raising these two wonderful spirits. I love being a mother, and my heart aches for those women who cannot or have not yet been able to take part in that great blessing and joy of motherhood. It has brought a much greater understanding and love for our Heavenly parents and the great plan of happiness.

Moving is always icky but I'm glad that you will be able to just be your family again. Heres to hoping that he gets the job.
